Kinder soccer is for children that are in kindergarten and/or are at least 4 years old by August 1 st prior to the start of their kindergarten year.

If a child is 6 years old and still in kindergarten, the child’s size, athletic ability, maturity and timidness will determine whether they will be placed in kinder soccer or recreational soccer. Whenever possible, children will be placed with others of the same grade level.

Kinder soccer is designed to introduce the basic fundamentals of soccer to 4, 5, and 6 year olds within the limits of their emotional and physical development. The primary goal for children this age to have FUN playing soccer!!

Kinder Soccer players must have shin guards and socks to cover them. They should have athletic shoes, but cleats are not required. Kinder soccer players now need to purchase a jersey through Cascade Athletic, 2930 Biddle Road, Medford, Phone: 772-7594.
